xPro410 (black), manufactured by Henkel Loctite, is a high-quality, affordable general-purpose prototyping resin. It prints quickly with excellent surface finish and accuracy. This will be your go-to resin for form and fit prototypes. Price: $82/kg.
xCE (black), manufactured by Liqcreate, is a high-strength, high-temperature resin suitable for injection molding and “under-the-hood” parts. The “CE” stands for cyanate ester, which means this resin has similar performance to dual cure cyanate ester materials but with a single cure step. Molds printed from xCE-Black were successfully injected with PP, PE, HDPE, and PETG hundreds of times at temperatures between 230°C and 280°C without any visible mold temperature degradation or adhesion, and without the use of any mold release agents. 3843-xABS (black), manufactured by Henkel Loctite, is a high modulus material that boasts excellent flexural and tensile physical properties with a relatively high degree of elongation. It is meant to simulate ABS, thereby suitable for applications where a balance of strength and impact resistance is important. It exhibits good weathering performance under accelerated aging tests. xPEEK147 (black), manufactured by Henkel Loctite, is a stiff, heat-resistant material with an HDT of 230ºC similar to many PAEK thermoplastics like PEEK. Typical uses are prototypes and end-use parts subjected to elevated temperatures above 100ºC and soft tooling for plastic molding. Price: $290/kg.
xPP405 (black), manufactured by Henkel Loctite, simulates unfilled polypropylene. It exhibits a higher impact strength and elongation than 3843-xABS. It is the best choice of consumer and industrial products that undergo the wear and tear of everyday life. Price: $210/kg.
KeyModel Ultra (ivory), manufactured by Keystone, is designed for the printing of dental and orthodontic models and removable dies . It prints quickly and shows excellent surface detail. The resin includes thermoforming release agents. Price: $89/kg.
